Unlimited tokens per request — what does that actually mean?

Direct API billing charges for every token generated. A single large coding session with Claude can cost $20–$50 in token fees alone. APIClaw replaces that metered model with a flat monthly plan where each request can be as large as you need.

Start free trial — no card required

No token cap per request

Send a 200,000-token context window and get a full response back. APIClaw imposes zero token-level limits on your side. The underlying provider's context window is the only ceiling.

Predictable monthly cost

Your bill is the same whether you send 10 tokens or 100,000 tokens in a request. Heavy coding sessions, long document analysis, large-context refactors — all covered by your flat plan.

Daily request quota, not a token meter

Your plan controls how many API calls you make per day, not how large each one is. Quotas reset automatically at 00:00 UTC so you always start fresh.

Flat monthly vs. pay-per-token: which is cheaper for you?

Pay-per-token (direct API billing)

  • Every input token and output token is charged separately
  • Heavy coding sessions with large context windows generate large unexpected bills
  • You must track usage constantly to avoid overages; budgeting is difficult
  • Scaling usage scales cost proportionally; no discount for volume on standard tiers
  • Accessing premium Claude models can cost $200+/mo on the official Max subscription

APIClaw — flat monthly request tiers

  • One fixed monthly fee regardless of how many tokens each request uses
  • Large context windows, long conversations, and heavy coding sessions all cost the same
  • Your monthly bill is predictable to the dollar; no surprise invoices at end of month
  • Daily request limits reset at midnight UTC; quota never carries over as debt
  • Plans start at $19/mo — significantly cheaper than official Claude Max for heavy users

If you make more than a few dozen API calls per week with large context, flat-rate billing is almost always cheaper than pay-per-token.

Unified OpenAI-compatible API

Drop any supported model behind one base URL. Every OpenAI SDK, tool, or integration works without code changes — just update the base URL and API key.

100+ models, one gateway

Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Meta, DeepSeek, Cohere, and xAI — all accessible through one endpoint. Switch providers by changing one parameter.

Predictable daily limits

Request quotas reset at 00:00 UTC every day. No surprise overage charges, no token metering — your monthly bill stays exactly what you signed up for.

Crypto-first billing

Pay monthly with crypto via NOWPayments. No card required. Access activates immediately after payment confirmation, with 30-day subscription cycles.

Scoped API keys & dashboard

Issue multiple scoped API keys for different projects, tools, or team members. Monitor usage per key and revoke access instantly from the dashboard.

Observability & request logs

Full request history, latency metrics, and per-model usage breakdowns. Understand exactly what your tools are calling and how much quota they consume.

Up and running in 3 steps

No SDK changes, no provider integrations to maintain — just update a base URL and key.

1

Sign up — no card required

Create your APIClaw account and get 50 free requests instantly. No credit card needed for the trial. Explore every provider and verify it works with your tools before committing.

2

Copy your API key

From the dashboard, generate an API key scoped to your project or tool. One key, all providers. You can create multiple keys with different names to track usage per tool.

3

Point your tool to APIClaw

Set the base URL to your APIClaw endpoint and paste your key. Works identically with Cursor, Claude Code, Kilo Code, Codex CLI, Hermes, OpenClaw, and any OpenAI-compatible client.

Example: Claude Code setup

# Set these once in your shell profile or .env
export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://apiclaw.biz/v1
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=your-apiclaw-key

# Then use Claude Code normally
claude "refactor this module"

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about APIClaw, flat-rate billing, and getting started.

What does 'unlimited tokens per request' mean?

There is no cap on the number of input or output tokens in a single API call. You can send a 200,000-token context window and receive a full response without hitting a per-request token ceiling. Your plan controls how many requests you can make per day, not the size of each one.

Is the Claude API access truly unlimited?

Yes — unlimited means no per-token charges and no token caps per request. Your monthly subscription gives you a daily request quota (for example, 500 requests/day on Plus). Each of those requests can be as large as the underlying model allows.

How do I use APIClaw with Claude Code?

Set the ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL environment variable to your APIClaw endpoint and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY to your APIClaw key. Claude Code will route all requests through APIClaw, giving you flat-rate billing instead of per-token Anthropic charges.

How do I connect APIClaw to Cursor?

In Cursor Settings → Models, add a custom OpenAI-compatible provider. Set the base URL to your APIClaw endpoint and paste your APIClaw API key. All supported models will appear in the model picker.

What is a flat-rate AI API, and how is it different from pay-per-token?

Pay-per-token means your bill grows every time a model generates output — the more you use it, the more you pay. APIClaw charges a fixed monthly fee regardless of how many tokens flow through your requests. Heavy users save significantly; predictable billing is built in.

What AI providers does APIClaw support?

APIClaw routes to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Meta (Llama), DeepSeek, Cohere, and xAI (Grok) through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint. The lineup expands as new providers become production-ready.

Which coding tools and IDEs work with APIClaw?

Any tool that accepts a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL works out of the box. This includes Cursor, Claude Code, Kilo Code, Codex CLI, Hermes, OpenClaw, Windsurf, OpenCode, VS Code with AI extensions, and JetBrains IDEs. See the setup guides at /docs/ for step-by-step instructions.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account starts with a free trial that includes 50 lifetime requests across all supported providers. No credit card is required to sign up. When you exhaust the trial requests, you can upgrade to any paid plan.

What are the daily request limits?

Daily limits depend on your plan: Plus gives 500 requests/day, Pro 1,000, Max 1,500, Ultimate 3,000, Ultimate Plus 4,000, Ultimate Pro 6,000, and Ultimate Max 8,000. Limits reset at midnight UTC. If you need higher limits, message us on Telegram at https://t.me/Apiclaw_support about a Custom plan.

When do daily request limits reset?

All daily request counters reset at 00:00 UTC. Unused requests do not roll over to the next day.

Does APIClaw impose rate limits on token usage within a single request?

No. APIClaw does not apply any token-level rate limiting on your behalf. Underlying provider limits (such as context window sizes) still apply, but APIClaw itself does not add additional token restrictions.

Can I switch between providers mid-subscription?

Yes. Your APIClaw key works with all supported providers simultaneously. Simply change the model name in your request to switch providers — no plan changes or additional keys needed.

Is APIClaw's API compatible with existing OpenAI SDK code?

Yes. APIClaw exposes a fully OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Change the base URL and API key in your existing OpenAI SDK setup and your code will work without any other modifications.

Do you support crypto or alternative payment methods?

Yes. APIClaw supports crypto billing in addition to standard payment methods, so you can pay for your subscription in cryptocurrency.

What is included in all paid plans?

Every paid plan — Plus through Ultimate Max — includes highest RPM speed, good TPM speed, unlimited token usage (no cap), access to all supported AI providers, a fully OpenAI-compatible API, daily UTC reset of request counts, crypto billing support, and a dashboard for managing API keys and monitoring usage.

What happens if I hit my daily request limit?

Requests beyond your daily quota will return an error response until the counter resets at 00:00 UTC. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your daily limit, and the new quota takes effect immediately.

How do I contact support?
